December FamMeet
Who: The Grove
What: Town Hall
When: Mid-Late December
Where: Inn Lobby
Warnings: Child death mentions, torture, body horror all probably will be brought up.
[ In the morning, Irene will trek around the Grove to knock on doors and let everyone know she's setting up a information sharing meeting in the Inn's lobby. She figures there would be best, considering the new fireplace (thread pending on my behalf) set up and the fact it's about as safe as they're going to get.
Irene also lets everyone know that any fights and any blatant drama starters will be met with punishment. She doesn't elaborate on this further. Zahliya is invited. Irene tells Moder if she wants to sit by the door to listen, she can. She does not invite the merchant siblings, however - though she'll make no objections if someone else does.
She seems to be writing things down in their shared journals this meeting so people can reference this later. ]

Let me fill you all in on what we know so far, yes?
Reincarnation plot
The Residents
The Guardians
Purification, Zahliya, and why Nene and Elsword can't be in the room sometimes
We've found shards of the sun, the moon, and know of Ydalir's star shards. They seem to be manifestations of holy magic, considering that this world reveres the sun and moon deities. We've given Zahliya the sun shard in hopes it'll help him purify things. So far, it seems to be going well, though we still need a bit of an oomph.

You can discern her experience in being cleansed by Zahilya here, and basically she tldr' explains what happened to her.
Says she is grateful to have been cleansed by Zahilya.
If anyone asks her HOW she got tainted and her experience during this time, she WILL go in depth about that. You can discern that explanation by reading what happened here. ]

[Vash looks around, just a little nervous.]
Old foresty is the one in charge of those weird rose puppies, right? The ones that can't see and you gotta bap 'em in the snout?

Re: Forest Entity
( the forest is alive and also a cruel sadist? is that what you're telling him? what did he walk in on?
... then again, maybe he can't disbelieve it. after all, he's... )
Then, is death... common?

The "Garden" is what happens? But... what is the state of the bodies, then...?

Places outside of the usual Grove Hotspots
There's a part of the forest where you might find people you know, but as trees. It's very fucked up, I do not recommend going there.
The Garden is where you'll end up if you die. I don't know much about this place, but I know there's a price you'll pay if you end up here, and that Nene brings you back if you do end up here. Do not die. Do not end up here. This is not me asking.
The River is where, unsurprisingly, the River Guardian is. Return any remains of the fish we eat from there back to it after we're able to fish there again. Thank the River Guardian when you take apples from the tree nearby there, and thank Moder when you take berries from the bush near it. Do not take bones from the river without permission.
There's other places within the forest and such, but if you want specifics, talk to Elsword. He has a map.
If you do end up going into the forest, bring a pair of the golden spectacles that Heimr has with you. They will show you a... safe-adjacent way into the forest. It won't guarantee safety, but it'll be your best case scenario.
About the Manor // cw child death cont.
[He looks lost for a minute, there, like something isn't quite adding up in his head. How did he get in the first time, again...?]
...I... don't remember, but I managed to get into the house somehow. It was... difficult. It didn't want me there. There are two kids inside who are doing some sort of ritual, and I couldn't get anybody out of there. The kids told me they didn't want to go. Or maybe it was that they couldn't? They have that spell to complete. But... the youngest kid in there died. I made that grave outside of the house, but...
...
I know someone was with me when I did. I just don't know who it was. Sorry. Since then, though, anyone who crosses the fence boundary gets thrown back out. I think I ruined it for everyone, but there's probably another way in, or something we can do to get to the other kids.
...
I managed to recover a journal, a group photo, and a map from the house. Does anyone want to see them?

I heard those kids, from the fence. They were crying. That means they've gotta be stuck there somehow.
[Clearly if they really wanted to be there, they wouldn't cry about it. So... they need to be helped.]

Here. You guys can pass these around, but I want the map back when we're done, at least.
