depends on your pain tolerance and how skilled your piercer is. kinda feels like a brief pinch. ive been doing it for years with a potato and a sewing needle but i promise the equipment at the shop is a) cleaner and b) way less painful than that

I have been considering it. I have earrings that belonged to someone I love dearly who was killed and did not return, and I thought that I might honor his memory by wearing them, but my ears have not been pierced.

catches the needle as it goes through the ear. not recommended but in the field it's kind of all we had.

if you didnt want to pierce your ears, you could modify them to be clasps instead. ive always found those painful and slippery though. they either don't hold enough or pinch so tightly it hurts. then again ydalir probably has some magic shit she can do to make sure they don't fall off, if you didn't want holes in your ears.

I've thought about that, as well, but I think I would rather wear them as they are. I do not mind the piercings, and I would hate to modify them away from the way that he wore them.

Would it be advisable to wear two pairs at once, somehow? Or should I begin with one? I have only ever worn an ear cuff, so I am not familiar.

this is baby's first piercing, right? i'd say to be safe do one pair at once. you could have a metal allergy or not react well to having what's basically a permanent hole in your earlobes. yeah we got healers but i don't think anyone here can heal allergies unless i'm completely wrong about what the clinic even does.

besides you have to baby them anyway. you have to rotate the piercings and clean them with antiseptic on a set schedule. gonna be a pain in the ass if youre doing 4 little piercing holes at once rather than 2. once you know youre not allergic and can tolerate having metal in your ears we can do the other pair.

An allergy is simply an irritation of bodily tissue, so it is similar enough to a wound that it may be possible for my magicks to heal it. Not that I plan to risk it, of course. As you've said, it is better to be safe than sorry.

i can't fit inside so we're doing this outside. on account of the cat ass (i am currently ten feet tall). it'll still be clean and you wont get infected, i'll get ezell to grab stuff from in the shop for me.
