[huh what was that was that a question... He'll think back at it in Victorian:]
My biggest growth? ...it probably came from after Enciodes and I returned to Kjerag after graduating college, I suppose. Perhaps when we started Karlan Trade?
[It really is nerd-to-nerd communication here. Anyway, that bellowing was insane and he's also trying to write things down as fast as he can. He wants to make sure he doesn't forget anything.]
[Dipper's thoughts are a stream of consciousness that bounce wildly around. Gotta get this down as fast as possible, there's a lot of information here, i'm still missing context I think, need to make a chart for the names, how many sects does their church have, I wonder what seaborn taste like, hey did I leave that curry out before leaving I hope Grunkle Stan puts it in the fridge, that language is super interesting, I wonder if I can crack it after having this many lines of letters, homemade pink sprinkles for cupcakes do you think mamika would-]
[Then it cuts off as another voice joins. This one is muffled some and it sounds like an amaglamation of Dipper's voice and something else, something distorted and shrill, almost. High pitched with an almost scream quality to it. The two voices speak as one: What makes you think you're contributing anything here that someone else isn't already? You keep writing down your little notes like you want to be some hero but aren't you just getting in the way?]
Shut up! I didn't ask you, and- Damn it, you made me miss what the voice said! It sounded like Mizuki! UGH!
That sounds like YOUR problem, doesn't it? Can't even keep your thoughts straight anymore.
I said shut up! It said something about growth! I- I don't know. I think maybe when Mabel and I decided to walk through the Door. We knew we wouldn't be going home ever again, but we needed to move forward, even if that meant saying good bye to the life we used to know.
...Have you noticed yet? What's happening?
[Dipper very suddenly snaps his attention to Gnosis, wide and startled.]
Yeah, those sure are Dipper thoughts! And... something else? The next stream of consciousness is again in Kjeragi before Gnosis has the "wait shit" moment and decides he's going to talk out loud... looks like Affo was doing something, but Gnosis is too focused on the thought invasion to really give two fucks right now. That, and he's reaaaally taking notes here. He and Dipper both, it seems.
He takes a deep breath.]
Our thoughts are linked.
[And he assumes, by the perturbed expressions of the others, that's true for them as well. That assumption rings loud and completely unclear in Dipper's mind: "De andre er også berørt. — Wait, fuck."]
[There's a long silence as even Dipper's wild ADHD thoughts fall quiet.]
[And then there is an uproar of laughter from the second voice, which Dipper clenches his jaw like he is trying very hard not to flip out in anger. After a deep breath or two, and the laughter's settled down some.]
No. I mean- [HAhahahaha HAHA!] The- ADHD thing is probably true, I'm not diagnosed, but not, not that other thing. It's a long story, anyway more importantly.
[...]
I swear it wasn't me, this time. My powers have been on the fritz, but I would have noticed if this was my fault. [Are you sure? You do make a habit of-]Shut up!
I wasn't blaming you. It's likely to do with the computer we were messing with — if "computer" is even the appropriate word to be using. We both answered the question, so I imagine if it our thoughts being linked doesn't end soon, we can simply turn the device off and carry on... somehow.
[It doesn't have an obvious on-off switch. They must have stumbled upon something, though.]
We'll have to talk about the apparent ghost in your brain later.
[Just like, by the way, don't make him tell your Grunkles or, god forbid, Flamebringer on you. Etc.]
[It's cool, he's got it under control. You could hardly tell he had someone bothering him this whole trip right? He didn't seem weirdly distracted earlier, surely. Or zoned out randomly when he'd normally be hyperfocused.]
[Haha, oh god don't tell his Grunkles-]
We really don't have to. [You should have lied about the schizophrenia!]
Anyway. The Caerula Arbor is supposed to be dead, right? Why does it seem like it's ...recruiting.
[Dipper will get some mental flashes of Stan, Ford, and Flamebringer ???? and Ydalir and Heimr oh No, while Gnosis is clearly spinning the wheel of which adult to Tattle On as if he himself isn't Thirty Goddamn Seven.]
I believe the hivemind continues on no matter what. From what Mizuki has told me, the Seaborn will consume the dead flesh and carry their memories and relevant abilities with them after that. For example, if the Seaborn were to eat me, they might gain some of my cryopathy. Although I'm not positive about this theory, it's possible that the little ones feasting on the Arbor have gained its power and memories.
[Oh, that makes him jump. He (and Gnosis) can already hear Stan's voice, getting onto him about not telling him everything when he goes brain diving in the head of a 2000k mage and comes out mentally and physically scarred.]
Oh, come on. Don't be a snitch, dude.
[Uggghh guess he gets to go have a conversation with Stan later.]
...Do you think them feeding on the Arbor has something to do with why Mizuki might be missing. I- look, I don't know a lot about how it works, this is me throwing a theory at a wall but, if they're feeding on this thing enough that it's memories can be viewed from this terminal, would it have any reason to go after Mizuki?
Less go after, and maybe attempting to fully rejoin with him? I'll be the first to admit that I don't have a true understanding either, but Seaborn recycling cells like that is common, I believe.
[But he's not sure, and the way his gaze flicks back to the screen says that much.]

Dette er fascinerende. Skriv raskere, skriv raskere... Jeg har ikke skrevet så raskt i stenografi på en stund. Ah, jeg burde tatt bilder med telefonen min også... de andre står bare der, lurer på om jeg bruker for lang tid.
